How to Reset the Oil Light in a 2003 Tahoe

    • 1). Insert the keys into the 2003 Chevy Tahoe.

    • 2). Turn the keys slightly to the right to the "Run" position without starting the engine. The radio and the dashboard and warning lights should come on, but the engine should remain off.

    • 3). Ensure that the "Change oil" message is displayed in the car's message center.

    • 4). Fully depress and release the car's accelerator three times within five seconds. The "Change oil" message should flash for approximately five seconds and then disappear.
