- Both Evinrude and Johnson outboard motors are made by Bombardier, a worldwide manufacturer of recreational, commercial and public products including watercraft, buses, ATVs and other types of vehicles. A variety of steel propellers are offered with Johnson and Evinrude engines, including three-bladed and four-bladed models that are suitable for different engine horsepower ranges.
- Stainless steel propellers for four-stroke Johnson and Evinrude outboard motors that range between 40-horsepower and 50-horsepower are manufactured under the SST model name. These units have a pitch that ranges between 13 degrees and 16 degrees and a diameter of 10.5 inches. Two-stroke engines between 40-horsepower and 50-horsepower also utilize stainless steel props but have a pitch that ranges from 13 degrees to 21 degrees. The diameter for these propellers ranges from 11.25 inches to 12.5 inches.
- Outboard motors between 60-horsepower and 115-horsepower from Johnson and Evinrude use steel propellers that feature either three or four blades. Four-bladed models are manufactured under the Renegade brand name, which have a diameter of 13.25 inches and a pitch of either 21 degrees or 23 degrees. Three-bladed propellers are found under the Viper, Raker and SST brands. The Viper has a pitch between 15 degrees and 21 degrees and a diameter of 13.875 inches. SST propellers have a diameter ranging from 13 inches to 13.875 inches, with a pitch between 11 degrees and 21 degrees. Raker propellers have a diameter of 13.5 inches and a pitch between 18 degrees and 24 degrees.
- Johnson and Evinrude outboard motors with a range between 130-horsepower and 300-horsepower also utilize steel propellers with either three or four blades. Three-bladed models include the SST, SRX, Raker and Viper. The latter propeller has a pitch between 17 degrees and 23 degrees with a diameter of either 14.25 inches or 14.75 inches. SST propellers have a diameter that ranges from 14.25 inches to 15.5 inches and a pitch between 14 degrees and 23 degrees, while the SRX has a 27-degree or 29-degree pitch and a 14.25-inch diameter. Raker propellers have a diameter of 14.5 inches and a pitch ranging from 18 degrees to 30 degrees. Renegade propellers have four blades with a diameter of 13.5 inches a pitch between 23 degrees and 27 degrees. Renegade Offshore propellers also have four blades, with a pitch ranging from 17 degrees to 23 degrees and a diameter ranging from 14.125 inches to 14.5 inches.
