- 1). Open the hood and unscrew the mounting screws on the top of the headlight assembly.
- 2). Slide the housing assembly forward.
- 3). Unplug the electrical connector from the back of the headlight.
- 4). Turn the headlight counterclockwise and pull it out of the housing assembly.
- 5). Pry the retaining clips off of the lens that hold the lens to the housing.
- 6). Wedge a flat-tip screwdriver between the lens and the main housing and pry the lens off of the housing.
- 7). Turn the lens over and clean the inside of the lens and housing with soap and water.
- 8). Dry the housing thoroughly with a clean towel.
- 9). Apply a liberal amount of lens polish to the inside of the headlight lens.

Work the lens polish into the inside of the headlight lens using a rotary buffer. Work the buffer back and forth in a linear motion. You don't need to work the buffer in a circular motion because the buffer is already moving in a circular motion. Continue to work the polish into the headlight lens until any remaining cloudiness has disappeared. - 11
Wipe down the inside of the lens of your '99 Dodge with a lint-free towel. - 12
Dry the inside of the housing assembly with a lint-free towel and reassemble the housing. Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly.
