- 1). Remove the window and lock switch bezel from the inner door panel with a trim tool. Disconnect the switches from the wiring harness by hand. Set the switches and the bezel aside.
- 2). Remove all the screws from the Expedition's door panel with your Philips screwdriver. Set the screws with the switches.
- 3). Lift the door panel up and off the door by hand. Set the panel aside.
- 4). Remove the nuts from the old mirror studs on the inside of the "A" pillar with a socket set. Unplug the wiring harness or remote cable from the mirror manually, depending on how your Expedition is equipped.
- 5). Slide the Expedition's old mirror off the outside of the door by hand. Slide the new mirror into the door in place of the old one.
- 6). Tighten the nuts onto the new mirror mounting studs with the socket set. Connect the wiring harness or remote cable and reinstall the door panel in reverse of how you removed it.
