When the love of your life breaks up with you, sometimes all you want to do is get him or her back...
you want it so bad you'll do anything, ANYTHING to try to make things right.
Sometimes though, your dedication to working things out can end up mixing with desperation to result in Text Message Terrorism, a common blunder when trying to get your ex back.
The basic idea behind T.
M.
T.
is simply being "overly enthusiastic" about contacting your ex to try to work things out.
To put it abruptly, you call or text so much that you drive your ex crazy! It's not just calling or texting either...
any of the following can be considered Text Message Terrorism: 1) Texting 2) Phone Calls 3) Emails 4) Instant-Messaging 5) Voicemail/Answering Machine messages 6) Myspace or Facebook messages 7) Contacting your ex's friends when you can't get ahold of your ex personally.
8) Showing up places you know your ex will be.
It gets to a point where you're practically stalking your ex, even if your intentions are the best in the world: to resolve your problems and bring the relationship back together.
What it looks like to your ex though, won't be how you see it yourself.
All your ex will see is a desperate and clingy ex who won't leave him or her alone.
That may not be the way you intend it, but that's how your ex will usually see it.
There ARE ways to reconnect with your ex and work things out, but for the time being you need to break off contact and give your ex some space.
Being "too much there" will just make it worse, so take a break from your ex and work on yourself.
It'll help big time in the long run, and you can still get your ex back even if you've made the mistake of Text Message Terrorism.
