Ask any man who has had their heart broken by a woman they loved and they will tell you that it is one of the most awful and painful experiences that they have ever had to go through. It even drives men to do the craziest things, simply because it throws them off of their game and makes them feel like maybe they are not really as lovable as they thought they were. You might be pondering whether or not you should give her space or if you should pursue your ex girlfriend.

While it might seem like these are two different choices, they really are not. See, even if you do want to pursue getting her back, you still need to give her some space. If you think that you are going to be able to win her back by pursuing her full throttle, think again. Breakups are hard on everyone who is involved, not just on the person who gets dumped. One thing that will really help you out if you want to get your girlfriend back, is to allow yourself some time to deal with your own issues. If you really do feel like your heart was broken, then it needs time to heal. Otherwise, you are going to be trying to get back into a relationship with your ex girlfriend when you are "broken" and that almost never turns out well.

When a guy feels like that, he is more likely to be insecure, jealous, needy... all of the things that will turn off your ex girlfriend. So, even if she does give you a second chance, the relationship will probably end again, all because you did not give yourself appropriate time to heal and get over the sting of the break up.

You Also Need to Have Options...

When you have options, things almost always turn out for the better. So, just because you feel like your ex girlfriend is who you want to be with, don't close the door on the potential for someone else. When you really know that you have options, you will not act desperate and needy. And it will be much easier to deal with the possibility that maybe she will not come back to you.
