How to Replace the Jetta's Wiper Blade

    • 1). Lift the Jetta's wiper blade away from the windshield and press the square, wiper blade release lever that is located on the end of the wiper arm. Pull the wiper blade down and slide it out of the wiper arm while holding the wiper blade's release lever. Discard the old wiper blade.

    • 2). Slide the new wiper blade into the wiper arm until it snaps and locks into place. Gently tug on the wiper blade to ensure that it is locked into place. Repeat steps for the second wiper blade.

    • 3). Turn on your Jetta's windshield wipers to ensure that the blade is working and cleaning properly.
