Tutorial for Power2Go

    • 1). Launch Power2GO. Mouse over the disc categories, such as "Data Disc" or "Music Disc"--notice the change in available burning formats at the bottom of the program as you move from one disc category to another.

    • 2). Click on the disc type, such as "CD" or "Blu-Ray Disc," that you'd like to burn from the options located near the bottom of the program. After you select a disc type, the program's main menu will load.

    • 3). Use the file explorer under the "Desktop" tab to locate files on your computer that you wish to burn. When you click on a folder, the contents of the folder will be displayed in the field to the right of the Desktop tab. Drag and drop the files into the window at the bottom of the program to coral them for burning.

    • 4). Insert a blank disc in to your computer's CD/DVD-ROM drive when you are ready to burn your compilation--you can click on the "Erase Disc" heading to perform a "Quick Format" or a "Full Format" to erase rewritable discs containing data.

    • 5). Click on the "Burning" heading at the top of the program when you are ready to burn a disc. Select the "Burn Disc" option from the drop-down menu that appears to begin burning your disc.

    • 6). Use the "Copy Disc" option under the Burning heading to clone a disc from one of your CD/DVD-ROM drives to the other.

    • 7). Use Power2Go to extract data from your CDs and DVDs. Select the "Save Disc Image" option from the drop-down menu below the "Burning" heading to create a virtual back up of a physical disc in your CD/DVD-ROM drive. Or, use the "Rip Audio" option to save audio tracks from any discs containing audio.
