    • 1). Plug the Tritton G6 analog Y-adapter into your computer. The green, 3.5mm-male plug connects to the headphone/speaker-out jack and the pink, 3.5mm-male plug connects to the microphone-in jack.

    • 2). Plug the headset's 2-pin male connector into the inline audio control.

    • 3). Plug the inline audio control's 6-pin male connector into the G6 Y-adapter's 6-pin female connector.

    • 4). Place the source selector on the inline audio control in the "To PC" position. This is the slider switch next to the volume wheel on the side of the control.

    Optical Connection

    • 1). Plug the headset into the inline audio control.

    • 2). Plug the 6-pin male connector on the inline control into one of the 6-pin female plugs on the front of the AX720 amplifier, each marked with a headphone icon. There are two plugs and you can use either one.

    • 3). Slide the selector switch on the side of the inline audio control to the "Amp" position.

    • 4). Remove the protective covers from both ends of the optical cable. Connect one end of the optical cable to the port marked "Optical" on the rear of the amplifier and the other end into the SPDIF Optical Out port on your computer.

    • 5). Plug the small end of the included USB cable into the USB port marked "Voice to PS3" located on the rear of the amplifier. Plug the other end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer.

    • 6). Connect the AC power adapter to the DC jack on the rear of the AX720 amplifier and plug the adapter into a wall outlet.

    • 7). Configure your computer's audio settings to set SPDIF/Digital as the default output mode. This varies depending on the operating system you are using, but you will generally access it from the Sounds part of the control panel.
