Changing Icon Size in Windows XP

• 1). Right-click on your desktop and click "Properties" from the resulting menu.
  
  
• 2). Click the "Appearance" tab followed by clicking the "Advanced" button in that window.
  
  
• 3). Locate the entry titled "Item" and select "Icon" from its drop-down menu.
  
  
• 4). Use the arrows to adjust the icon size. The larger the number, the larger the icons will be.
  
  
• 5). Click "Apply" when you have finished and "OK" to exit the window.
  
  

Changing Icon Size in Windows Vista or Later

• 1). Right-click on your desktop.
  
  
• 2). Hover over the "View" entry from the resulting menu.
  
  
• 3). Click "Small," "Medium," or "Large" from the available icon sizes on the list that appears.
