How to Install the Windows XP Product Key in BIOS

    • 1). Insert the Windows XP CD into your computer.

    • 2). Restart your computer. Press the key indicated in the Startup messages (typically one of the "F" keys) to enter the BIOS.

    • 3). Click on the "Boot" menu. Highlight the "Primary Boot Device" entry and select "CD-ROM."

    • 4). Press "Esc" and "Y" to save and exit.

    • 5). Press any key when prompted to boot into the XP installation. Press "Enter" at the first screen, "F8" at the second," highlight the drive to which you wish to install Windows and press "Enter." Input your product key when prompted to complete the install.
