How to Remove a HPCMPMGR.EXE Error

    • 1). Press "Ctrl," "Alt," and "Delete" to open the Windows Task Manager. Click the "Processes" tab.

    • 2). Scroll through and click "hpcmpmgr.exe." Click "End Process." It is important to terminate this programs running process before removing it. If it is not in the Task Manager, move to the next step to remove it.

    • 3). Click the Windows "Start" button and click "Run." Type "regedit" (without quotes) and press "Enter" to open the registry.

    • 4). Click "HKLM" on the left panel and click "Software." Click "Microsoft" and click "Windows." Click "Current Version" and click "Run." On the right panel delete "hpcmpmgr.exe." Exit the registry.
