How to Install the Windows XP on a Dell Latitude D600

    • 1). Turn on your D600 and open its disc drive. Place the Windows XP CD into the disc drive and then close the drive.

    • 2). Restart the computer and press the "Enter" key on your laptop when the words "Press any key to boot from CD" appear on the screen.

    • 3). Press "Enter" twice and then press the "F8" key (located above the "7" key on your keyboard).

    • 4). Press the down arrow key to select the D600's hard drive as the installation drive. Press "C" and then press "Enter" to create an installation partition.

    • 5). Press "Enter" twice to start the Windows XP installation.
