- 1). Click "Start."
- 2). Click "Control Panel."
- 3). Choose "Power Options."
- 4). Click "Change Plan Settings" next to the listed Power Plan that is currently selected. This will allow you to view the current settings, which should allow you to determine exactly which setting is causing your problems.
- 5). Use the drop down menus on the "On Battery" column to change your E-Machines Power Saver settings for times when your computer is running off of battery power (in the event that you own a laptop). Use the "Plugged In" column to change your E-Machines Power Saver settings for the times when your computer is running off of a power cable. When finished, click "Save Changes" to fix your Power Saver problem.
