How to Locate the EGR Valve on My Vivaro

    • 1). Unfasten the Torx bolts that secure the plastic engine cover to the top of the motor with a Torx wrench and set the cover aside.

    • 2). Locate the master brake cylinder on the driver's side of the engine attached to the firewall. The master brake cylinder is a plastic reservoir with brake fluid inside the container.

    • 3). Look between the master brake cylinder and the driver's side of the vehicle frame. The EGR valve for the Vivaro engine is a metal black cylinder that sits next to the master cylinder and is connected to an exhaust pipe.
