How to Recover Formatted Partitions

    • 1). Download the demo software by following the link provided in the Resources section at the bottom of the page. Click "Download EXE" and then "Save File" when asked if you would like to save the file.

    • 2). Double click the newly downloaded file. It will appear in either a "Downloads" pop-up window, or as an icon on the desktop. Click "OK" and then "Run" when asked if you would like to run the program.

    • 3). Click "Next" when the installation wizard launches, then follow the remaining prompts to complete the installation.

    • 4). Launch the software and select the formatted partitioned drive you want to recover data from, then click "Next."

    • 5). Select "Standard Search" and then click "Next." The software will now scan the drive for all information still on the it. When compete, check the boxes next to the files you want to recover and click "Next." Select a location on the hard drive where you want the recovered files to be saved and click "Finish." The files will now be recovered and placed onto the hard drive.
