If you're a strong believer in Christianity, you will give God credit for everything in your life.
However, how do you really know that he is the one helping you? I know that most Christians will give me a standard response when I ask this question, I can feel him working through me.
Now with that said, how do you really know that it's God working through you and not another force or even the Hindu god Krishna? So let me give you an example here, you're praying to God and you call him Jesus.
In your mind, Jesus was the son of God and only he can answer your prayers or help you with any of your problems.
In India, they have other names for their gods and they seem to perform the same tasks in similar ways.
Do you really think that these people aren't feeling God or having him work through them? You believe it, they believe it, I believe it, but what makes you right and others wrong.
If you're a religious person and I'm going to use a Christian as an example here, do you believe that you get treated any better than a nonbeliever or someone else who believes in a different God.
For example: if you planted a tree in your front yard and your Muslim neighbors planted the same tree in their front yard, at the same time, whose tree would actually grow faster and taller.
What I mean really is, didn't one of the profits from the Old Testament, tell the priests who believed in their god and the priests who believed in Jehovah, each to sacrifice, until the real God destroyed the others temple.
According to the Bible, Jehovah destroyed the other God's temple to prove a point.
Why wouldn't God do something similar to show us, who is really more powerful, today.
I think that tree example would be a good place to start, I don't know if God is really going to be interested, but if we can contact him through prayer, why should we give it a shot.
