How to Install Air Conditioning in a 2007 Nissan Sentra

    • 1). Lift up the hood of your Nissan Sentra. Loosen the bolt on the negative battery terminal clamp with a socket wrench. Lift the negative cable away from the battery terminal.

    • 2). Enter your vehicle. Locate the screws for the upper and lower dash panels. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws and carefully lift the panels away from the dash. Place the panels in a safe area for reattachment later.

    • 3). Remove the screws which fix the instrument cluster in place. Slide the instrument cluster out of the dash and remove the electrical wiring from the rear. Place the cluster with the earlier removed panels.

    • 4). Place the air conditioning module at the bottom of the dash and secure in place by attaching the mounting bolts with a wrench. Place the compressor belt on to the compressor tensioner and secure in place by tightening the tensioner bolt.

    • 5). Place the refrigerant line in to the module and secure in place with a wrench. Reattach the dash assembly by following steps 2 and 3 in reverse. Drive your vehicle to your local A/C repair center in order to have your module filled with Freon.
