- 1). Read the installation manual carefully. Identify all of the parts and lay them out in a safe area. Pop the hood and remove the positive battery cable from the terminal. Attach the alarm's power wire to the positive cable and run the wire to the driver side of the firewall.
- 2). Mount the alarm siren in the engine bay, facing the engine to limit water exposure while driving. Pull the wire to the same location as the power wire. Feed all of the wires through an existing hole in the firewall or drill a new hole.
- 3). Remove the lower panel, beneath the steering wheel and locate the power lock relay near the fuse box. Attach the alarm's power lock module if so equipped. Drill a small hole in a visible location on the dash or center console and secure the LED light.
- 4). Locate the starter wire in the ignition harness coming from the steering column and connect the start disable relay. Mount the shock sensor per the manufacturer's instructions and run all the wires to the panel under the dash.
- 5). Connect all of the wire to the alarm control module and mount the module as far back in the dash as possible. Secure it to a heavy wire bundle with zip ties.
- 6). Reconnect the positive battery cable and test the alarm. Adjust the sensitivity as needed and secure any loose wires with zip ties.
