How to Use Virtual PC 2007 to Boot Into Ubuntu Without a Disk

    • 1). Download an Ubuntu disk image. Open Virtual PC 2007 and create a new virtual machine with at least 512MB of RAM, then start your new virtual machine.

    • 2). Click on "CD" in the menu bar and then choose "Capture ISO Image." Select your downloaded Ubuntu ISO disk image and let the virtual machine boot the disk.

    • 3). Select "Try Ubuntu without any change to your computer" from the boot list. This will boot into the live version of the Ubuntu Linux distribution.
