- 1). Separate the lobster tail from the rest of the body by grabbing where they connect, twisting and pulling the tail off at the same time.
- 2). Twist and pull off the tail flippers on the end of the lobster tail.
- 3). Crack the lobster tail open by holding both ends of the tail and bending it against its curve. This will crack and open the end of the lobster tail wide enough to get the meat out.
- 4). Push a fork through the end of the tail, pushing the meat up through the larger opening of the tail.
- 5). Grab the meat that is mostly pushed out of the tail and pull it all the way out.
