- 1). Charge the battery, replace the battery or take the battery out and reinsert it correctly if the camera does not turn on. If the camera turns off while you are using it, you need to charge or replace the battery.
- 2). Wipe the lens with a soft cloth if your picture is blurred. If that doesn't work, try switching to "Image Stabilization" mode. Turn the mode dial on the back of the camera to the picture of a hand, which represent image stabilization mode. This mode counteracts any hand shaking.
- 3). Delete any unwanted images from your memory card or replace the card if your pictures, video clips and audio files don't save. Most likely, your memory card is full. To delete pictures, set the mode dial to "playback" and use the navigation keys to find pictures you want to remove and then hit the "Delete" button, represented by a trash can. Press the up or down navigation error to navigate to "Yes" if it is not already selected and press the "Func Ok" button located in the middle of the navigation arrows to confirm the deletion.
- 4). Verify the memory card is not full, and make sure the mode dial is not in "Playback" mode, represented by a play arrow, if you push the shutter button, but no picture is taken.
- 5). Check the connection between the camera and printer if your pictures do not print. Verify you have the camera connected to the printer with a USB cord. Press the "Menu" button on the back of the camera, and use the up or down arrows to navigate to "USB Connect," then press the right navigation button and use the up or down arrows to select "Printer," and press the "Func OK" button to confirm.
- 6). Verify that your printer is PictBridge compatible; your printer's user manual should show this information. Clear any paper jams and make sure the printer has paper and isn't out of ink if you still cannot print pictures.
