- 1). Look for the TDK logo. As of December 2010, TDK's logo consists of an equilateral triangle with its ends trimmed off, inside which three pairs of smaller triangles -- each pointing toward one of the trimmed-off tips -- encircle another small, downward-pointing triangle.
- 2). Inspect the item for TDK lettering on it, even if that lettering isn't necessarily in the form of a logo. Although it's possible a similar product from a competitor could include the code "TDK" as a coincidence, if a TDK-produced product -- a ferrite, for instance, or a capacitor -- has these letters on it, they're likely indicative of the brand.
- 3). Check your invoice. Although you (or your employees who handle the equipment) likely threw out the packaging when you brought the equipment on-board, the invoice you received when you purchased it will include the brands of all items involved. Scan through invoices you received around the time you acquired your product to see whether it is TDK.
