- 1). Plug your Motorola 9Q into your computer using the USB cable that came with the device.
- 2). Allow Windows Mobile Device Center to automatically boot up and configure itself with your device. Follow the instructions of the synchronization wizard, checking the boxes relating to data directories you would like to regularly sync with your device and click "Authorize" to agree to the licensing agreement.
- 3). Type the name of the device into the text-field and click "Set Up" to finalize the synchronization process. From now on, when you connect your device to your computer, Windows Mobile Device Center will automatically synchronize data between the computer's hard drive and your device's file directory.
- 1). Unlock your phone and type the number of the person you would like to call using the keypad.
- 2). Click "Call" to initiate the phone call.
- 3). Click the red phone button to end the call.
- 1). Unlock your phone and type the number of the person you would like to send a text message to.
- 2). Press the "Menu" button and select "Send Text Message."
- 3). Type the message using the keypad and click "Send." The message will be sent to the recipient.
- 1). Unlock your phone and click "Start," choose "Messaging" and click "New E-mail Account."
- 2). Type your email address into the text-field and click "Next."
- 3). Type the name you would like others to see when you send them a message and the name of your email account. Click "Next."
- 4). Click "Finish" and choose "Yes" to finalize the email setup.
- 5). Press "Start" from the main menu and click "Messaging." Choose the name of your email account, press "Menu" and select "New."
- 6). Type the name of the email address you would like to send the email to in the corresponding text field.
- 7). Type the message into the messaging text field and click "Send." The message will be sent to the recipient.
