- 1). Check the connection between your printer and your outlet or extension chord. Try another outlet if you believe there might be something wrong with that specific outlet.
- 2). Disconnect every cable, then reconnect them. This usually solves “Unknown Error” problems on your screen.
- 3). Wait about 12 minutes and feed the printer with paper. If your print heads were just recently installed, the printer tests itself before you can use it normally.
- 4). Uninstall your printer’s software, then reinstall it on the computer to which you connect the printer.
- 5). Verify your device’s connection to the computer. Make sure that the cable properly connects firmly to the computer.
