It's a mistake to think that all worrying is bad, in many cases it's essential to worry as it encourages you to be concerned enough about problems that you'll think about them and seek to find solutions, it helps you to take action.
It is also true however that many people worry to a point where it becomes a major life hindrance.
Your mind starts to live in a world of 'what ifs' and constantly projects into the future making mountains out of molehills and envisioning the worst case scenarios.
These thoughts will easily turn to fears and the effect it can have on your levels of stress are significant.
Worrying can also paralyze your life and make you unproductive, you'll find that you are not only worrying for yourself but also for many other people around you.
It's like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders.
It's dangerous for a number of reasons but one of the principal ones will be how it can impact upon the state of your health.
When you spend your days worrying it drains you of energy, leaves you fearful and feeling negative plus you get absolutely no rewards whatsoever in return.
Although chronic worrying is a very strong habit to break, it can be broken, you can learn how to do it.
Mostly this involves training your mind to remain calm and balanced in its thoughts, you learn how to supervise your thoughts and see things in a healthier balance.
