- 1). Install a TV tuner card into your computer if you do not currently have one. Although you can install an internal TV tuner card, it may be easier to connect an external card to your computer via USB cable.
- 2). Insert the driver installation disk into the computer and wait for the driver installation wizard to launch. Follow the prompts to complete the installation. The driver is going to tell your computer how to properly use the hardware.
- 3). Remove the driver installation disk and insert the software installation disk. When the installation wizard launches, accept the license agreement (you are not allowed to install the software without doing so), then follow the remaining prompts to complete the installation.
- 4). Connect a coaxial cable to the "Out" port of your cable/satellite receiver. Plug the other end of the cable into the "In" port on the TV tuner card. If you are not using a receiver but an antenna instead, you can connect the coaxial cable running directly out of the antenna into the "In" port on the card.
- 5). Power on the satellite/cable receiver and launch the computer software you installed. You can now watch television on your computer monitor.
