How to Cut a Contact Lens With a Die

    • 1). Hold the die in your hands or in a clamp of some type so that one of the edges is pointed up.

    • 2). Use the knife to whittle away at the edge until it is razor sharp.

    • 3). Press down on the contact lens with the sharpened edge of the die and slice downward to cut the lens. Repeat the process if the lens is particularly stubborn or insistent on remaining intact.
