Chlorella - The Food of the Next Millennium

The human body is a complex machine which consists of different organs which work in unison.
To carry on the day to day activities the body needs energy which is obtained by the oxidation of glucose.
Having said this actual process of oxidation is not so simple and involves complex reactions and enzymes.
Along with energy many by-products are also formed which are flushed out of the body.
In the process many free radicals are also produced.
These free radicals are highly reactive and unstable.
To obtain a stable configuration the free radical steal electrons from the nearby cells causing damage to its genetic materials.
To protect the body from these free radicals antioxidants are formed in the body which scavenges the body of these radicals.
Normally the anti-oxidants produced in the body are adequate.
In modern times with competition and hectic schedule coupled with consumption of Junk food, smoking and alcohol consumption increases the number of free radicals many times over.
The anti-oxidants are not able to stem this tide and the free radicals cause damage to cell precipitating many forms of cancer.
Chlorella is a powerful detoxicant and helps to scavenge free radicals as well as heavy metals and pesticides that have found way into the human food chain.
Chlorella which is an alga like all its other members of this class has a tough outer covering and an inner core which contains all the nutrients.
The outer covering binds with these heavy metals and free radicals and is flushed out of the body.
A clean oxygen rich blood is the first requirement fro a healthy immune system which can tackle the different carcinogenic cell and prevent its multiplication.
Again a clean blood means an efficient disposal of wastes and unwanted toxins out of the body by the liver.
Chlorella as the name suggests is particularly rich in chlorophyll which is rich in magnesium.
Magnesium is very vital for the health of the heart.
A shortage of time in these modern times leads to a greater dependence of ready made food which is deficient in both fibers and chlorophyll.
Chlorophyll requirements are fulfilled by taking chlorella.
Chlorophyll also adds bulk to stools and help to prevent constipation which is the number one cause of Alimentary canal ailments.
Chlorophyll is a very good remedy in anemia providing Iron, magnesium and important nutrients to ensure proper Erythropoesis.
