How to Get Rid of Red Brassiness in Blonde Colored Hair

    • 1). Wash your hair with a mild shampoo and towel-dry it. Comb it out with a wide-toothed comb to remove any tangles or snarls.

    • 2). Put on a pair of rubber or latex gloves before using any chemicals to protect the skin. Place an old towel around your shoulders and hold it in place with a clip.

    • 3). Pour a 1.5-ounce bottle of blonde toner into a plastic dye bottle. Add 3 ounces of 20 volume developer, replace the cap and shake the bottle well to mix.

    • 4). Start at the back of your hair and squeeze the mix onto the red and discolored areas first. Apply the toner mix to the rest of the hair and leave it on for five to 10 minutes. Do not leave it on over 15 minutes or the toner will start to color the hair.

    • 5). Rinse the hair out with warm water and squeeze out any excess water carefully. Don't twist or pull on the hair, as it can break. Apply a conditioner and leave it on about five minutes and rinse it out. Towel-dry your hair and style as usual.
