- 1). Place a small amount of vinegar in a microwaveable container.
- 2). Heat the container in the microwave until the vinegar is warm.
- 3). Dip an old toothbrush (one you aren't going to use again) in the heated vinegar.
- 4). Scrub the gum off your clothes with the toothbrush.
- 5). Wash and dry the garment as usual.
- 1). Boil a pot of water on the stove.
- 2). Place the clothing stuck with gum in the boiling water. Allow the garment to soak.
- 3). Scrape the gum off carefully with a dull knife.
- 4). Wash and dry the garment.
- 1). Place the garment in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer for about one hour. This will allow the gum to freeze and harden, so you can pull pieces off the clothing.
- 2). Scrape off pieces of the gum carefully with a dull knife.
- 3). Wash and dry the garment.
