- 1). Make sure your fridge temperature is set about 35 to 40 degrees to ensure the cheese will stay fresh.
- 2). Take your cheese out of the plastic it comes in from the store. Toss this plastic away.
- 3). Wrap your cheese in wax paper. This will enable your cheese to breathe, but stay fresh at the same time.
- 4). Use parchment paper if you don't have wax paper. Secure the parchment paper with tape if it does not stay closed.
- 5). Strong smelling cheeses like blue cheese should be double wrapped or placed in air tight containers to prevent the smell from spreading to your produce.
