Vinyl Records

• Hang vinyl records on small chains or fishing line to create a room wall divider. Heat a small metal knitting needle or crochet hook to melt a hole into the record to string the chain or fishing line through. Be careful when using a drill to make the hole. Make sure your drill bit is very sharp. Set your drill to a high RPM and slowly drill the hole to avoid cracking the vinyl record.
  
  

Beads

• Use beads to create a room wall divider. Attach the beads to a strip of fabric or ribbon and then attach that to the areas you want to divide. Vary the size, color and shape of the beads to create texture, depth and dimension. Use strands of faux pearls or rhinestones for a more glamorous look.
  
  

Fabrics

• Use fabrics to create a room wall divider. Use a solid piece of fabric or cut into strips, like ribbon. Add embellishments to the fabric such as buttons, lace or ribbons. Use heavy fabrics such as velvet if you do not want to be able to see through it.
  
  

Silverware

• Use metal spoons, butter knives and forks to create a room wall divider. This works well when separating your kitchen from your dining room. Use a small drill bit to drill a hole in the silverware and lace a chain or fishing line through it. Use different styles and colors of silverware to add color and visual interest.
  
  

CDs

• Create a room wall divider using CDs. Attach fishing line to the CDs using super glue. Add embellishments to the CDs such as glitter, rhinestones and lace. You can even stencil designs on the CDs to add color.
