Are placement programs that charge to find you a job worth the money?

Question: Are placement programs that charge to find you a job worth the money?

Answer:

Be vary wary of anyone that charges to find you a placement in Spain. There are so many language schools in Spain that there is no need to pay someone to find you work. One placement program, CIEE, claims to offer something others cannot - work in a public school as opposed to a private academy. This is a relatively unusual placement, shame another program offers exactly the same service for free: Spanish Ministry for Education & Science North American Language & Cultural Assistants in Spain.

Another program worth giving a miss is this one from workingabroad.org. With so many teaching jobs available in Spain, working for free (albeit it food and board covered) and having to pay for the privilege is insane.
