Note that A Coruña is the local Galician (and more politically correct) name for the city. The Spanish name is La Coruña. Some people try (in vain) to avoid confusion by simply calling the city Coruña, which just makes things worse.

What's the Best Way to Get from Barcelona to A Coruña?

This is one of the longest journeys in Spain and so I'd fly if given the option.

However, the night train can be fun. There aren't many Night Trains in Spain left in Spain and the routes are shutting down throughout Europe, so if you're interested in the romance of a long-distance sleeper train, this could be a great choice.

But why travel so far without stopping, when there are so many fantastic cities in between? You will pass through Zaragoza, Logroño and Burgos, while Bilbao, San Sebastian and Oviedo are there for you with a short diversion. Check out my page on Spain's Must-See Sights - City by City for more details.

Direct flights take around 1h40m. Vueling, Spain's national budget carrier, runs this route. This is probably the best way to get between these two cities, but be careful with Vueling: I've found checking in online with them to be quite a pain.
