If you have ever been full of good intentions and meaning to get round to that new diet or healthy exercise regime but never have, this article will provide you with some simple ways to reduce body fat:- 1) Start completing the jobs you hate doing and usually pay someone else to do.
So you could go and wash your car, mow the lawn, do some gardening or take the dog for a walk.
2) Never go shopping when you're hungry and always make a shopping list.
There are a lot of mind games involved when you are looking for ways to reduce fat.
Shopping when hungry will involve lots of impulse buying.
The same as if you have no list! 3) When preparing and cooking your healthy meals - i tend to do this in bulk.
So make a number of portions and then pack them away in a container and freeze.
One of the main reasons for quitting a healthy eating plan is laziness.
So on the days you feel full of energy, cook a little extra! 4) Never skip a meal.
I know you may believe that this will aid the weight and fat loss process, but it won't.
In actual fact it is likely to have the complete opposite effect.
Your metabolism will slow down as soon as it believes your body is hungry.
The reason for this is your body will now need to store fat for energy rather than burning it! 5) On your cheat days (yes you should have one a week to aid your motivation) eat whatever you like, but keep to the small portions.
So if you are having burgers, fries, ice-cream or pizza just make sure your portions sizes aren't gigantic! 6) If you get bored easily doing exercise, try sticking your exercise bike in front of the TV or listen to music.
Once again your mind will try and control how much exercise you do, so try and keep it occupied! 7) Try and find a workout and diet buddy.
I realise that many people may be embarrassed by their size or weight, but believe me there is no better motivation than having someone by your side.
You are there to help each other through the hard times and also a little friendly competition never hurt anyone!
