- 1). Plug the USB cable that came with your M240 into the USB input on the device itself. Stretch the other end of the cable to your computer and insert it into any available USB port.
- 2). Turn on your computer. Windows will recognize the connected M240 and will automatically install a device driver. A bubble with a message indicating that the device is ready to use will appear above the clock on your desktop.
- 3). Insert the CD-ROM that came with your M240 into your computer. This CD-ROM contains the software necessary to use the device. Windows will automatically load the software from the CD-ROM.
- 4). Click "Install" to install the software contained on the CD-ROM. Reboot your computer to finalize the installation of both the M240 and the software.
- 1). Click "Start."
- 2). Open the "Computer" folder.
- 3). Right-click the icon for your M240. Click "Format."
- 4). Click "Start" in the Format window to format your M240 media player.
