- Besides the mechanics of golf, you will also learn about many other areas of the game. This includes teaching golf, managing a golf shop and learning all the rules involved in a tournament.
- Besides practical experience, you will also take classes and seminars on golf. Some classes include Motivating/Feedback Principles and Player Development, according to the Darien Patch. According to PGA.com, you must pass its Playing Aptitude Test as part of your PGA instructor certification.
