I have always harboured this ambition to be an entrepreneur. To be able to work at something that interested me and I could be passionate about when selling to other people. To be able to set my own hours, to get up in a morning when it suited me and not be a slave to some tyrant who's only concern was, not the welfare of his co-workers, but how much money they could make for him.
In the last few years I have realised that this could become a reality with the advent of the internet and auction sites. I took my first tentative steps into auction selling with eBay back in 1999. At first I started to sell household items which I didn't need and apparently this is the correct way to start. I learned the ins and outs fairly quickly and little tricks like listing your items on a Thurs for ten days so they would finish on a Sunday when most people are at home and delaying any bids on items I wanted to buy until the last minute so as not to be gazumped. I then moved into selling my own products i.e. ebooks about articles I found on the web with selling rights. Just copying them to a CD and selling for anything from 99p upwards. I then progressed to all Private Label Rights products and Master Resell Rights which I altered to my own fashion and sold them on for 100% profit.
Although I now make a comfortable living I was sure there was a way to improve things so I persevered and eventually came across what I later found out was called the eBay Secret. It's too much to go into here but maybe in the future I will take time out from making money to explain all, but for now I thought I'd let you know that it is possible to achieve satisfaction in your work you just have to persevere.
My own experiences of trying to go my own way making money on the net were somewhat spasmodic and I stumbled along trying to get my own site up and running and it wasn't until I came across what I think is the best course of video tutorials on the internet. The producer actually takes you by the hand and guides you step by step through the whole process of setting up your site driving traffic to it, using autoresponders and too much more to go into.
I am just glad I found it and encourage others to do the same. As before, do not give up,perseverance pays off in the long run.
