Who Will Be My Potential Customers

One of the nicer things about Internet Marketing is the ease reaching a lot of potential customers. AND (unfortunately), that is about where it all ends. You have to narrow your target down from "general" because the general public is just too broad a target. If you DON'T aim at a specific target audience, you will totally miss. All of your efforts will just go off into "la-la" land.

1. Who are you trying to reach? The older generation commonly referred to as the Silent Generation or Silent Majority? They are the ones that respect the law and try to obey it, committed to duty and hard work, and willing to sacrifice.

2. Maybe your target audience is the Baby Boomers. These folks mostly are full of optimism with a positive attitude. They are the ones with personal growth and health as a concern and aim or personal goal. Potential customers here is the concern about their coming retirement - Right?

3. Then there is the Generation that has real no nickname - well, not yet. One system refers to them as Generation "X". These are the ones that are out of the teen-e-bopper era with families and responsibilities. They are out for fun with an informal attitude but very knowledgeable about the computer and how it works. They are also highly active in the social media circles.

4. Then we have those new fresh adults that are full of diversity and very "street-smart". Generation "Y"? They are very savvy on young life via the social media, something they are almost self-educated with the electronic gadgets. They are very social and quick to pick up on the latest fads and fashions. They have a very keen knowledge of electronic toys.

With this, you have a better idea of what generation age you want to target, right? Does the above illustrations solve any problems for you? In reality, any category holds potential customers but your challenge will to make contact and communicate with them, ON THEIR LEVEL. OK, it's a start.

With all this considered, you have to tailor your product to the apparent age group. With that said, it doesn't really matter what age group you are aiming at, if your "nitch" or your reasoning is right. You have a product in Network marketing with all 4 age groups. Now the big challenge is communicating with them.

I would like to believe that people are following me because of me, not because of what I have to offer but really for the product I have available, my trust - my believability. The product I sell is a "need" creation that I offer, a need that they need to fill for themselves. I believe they are beginning to look at me as in a leadership position and that they can trust me. I want them to buy ME, and when they do, they then will look at my product.

These days, you can have a nice design and some well-written content, but it just isn't enough. You also have to get into the heads of your buyers and learn how they think - and why they think that way. Targeting your market is absolutely essential.

For you? You are the greatest product they know. People will spend more for you than anything you can offer. Work hard to sell yourself and know that people can trust you. Become an Internet Marketing Specialist. Do you want to make money on line? Do you want to run your own internet marketing business? Well my friend, you have to choose your audiences and sell yourself first.
