- 1). Blot the urine right away with paper towels. Microfiber repels water, and since urine is nearly all water, catching a urine spot right away is the quickest way to clean microfiber.
- 2). Combine equal parts white vinegar and distilled water, dampen a cloth with the solution and use the cloth to blot the urine spot. This will help diminish the odor.
- 3). Sprinkle baking soda directly on the urine spot. Let the baking soda sit on the urine spot for five minutes; this will allow time for the baking soda to trap any excess urine from soaking into the furniture as well as neutralize the urine odor.
- 4). Vacuum up the baking soda using the hose attachment. Allow the affected area to air dry. If you still notice a stain or odor, use more baking soda.
