- 1). Double-click the icon on your desktop for Microsoft Outlook to open the program.
- 2). Select the Tools drop down and then click on the selection for "Options." This will display the Options dialog box.
- 3). Go to the Preferences tab and the click the "Junk E-mail..." button. This will display the Junk E-mail Options dialog box or window.
- 4). Select the "No Automatic Filtering. Mail from blocked senders is still moved to the Junk E-mail folder" option. Click the "Apply" button to save the change.
- 5). Click the "OK" button to close the Junk E-mail Options window. Click the "OK" button again to close the Options dialog box.
- 1). Open the Outlook Web Application on your web browser.
- 2). Select the "Options" button that is on the left panel.
- 3). Uncheck the box for "Filter Junk E-mail."
- 4). Click the "Save and Close" button at the top of the screen to save the change and go back to the main screen.
- 1). Double-click the Thunderbird icon on your desktop to open the program.
- 2). Select the Tools drop down and then click the "Account Settings..." option. This will open the Display Settings window or dialog box.
- 3). Find the email account with the junk mail folder to be disabled. Click the "Junk Settings" option that is listed under the email account.
- 4). Uncheck the box for "Enable adaptive junk mail controls for this account" and "Move new junk messages to." Click the "OK" button to save the changes.
- 5). Repeat this process for other email accounts to disable the junk mail folder.
