How to Get Stubborn Paint Off My Bathroom Wall

    Painted Wall

    • 1). Put on your gloves and soak the nylon sponge with rubbing alcohol.

    • 2). Scrub the paint in little circles, pressing hard as you scrub.

    • 3). Resoak the sponge and continue scrubbing until all the paint is gone. Rubbing alcohol penetrates and dissolves the paint, leaving your wall clean.

    Tile

    • 1). Scrape away as much paint as you can, using the plastic scraper.

    • 2). Remove paint stains from the tile by applying a dab of undiluted chlorine bleach to the stain. Be careful to not get any bleach on your clothes, as it will fade colors and damage the fabric.

    • 3). Use the rubbing alcohol as mentioned in Section 1 to remove paint from the grout. If your grout is not sealed, you may need to contact a grout cleaning service to completely remove the paint.
