- 1). Left-click on the beginning of the section of your recording that you wish to loop. Make sure that the timing is right by clicking the "Play" button or pressing the "Space" button on your keyboard to preview the area you have selected.
- 2). Stop the playback with the "Stop" button or by pressing your "Space" key again. Then, click the "Edit" and "Split" buttons in the menu at the top of the program. You can also hold "Command" and press "T" instead of using the menu buttons.
- 3). Click at the ending point of the audio you wish to loop and preview that selection with the "Play" or "Space" keys, stopping the playback once you are satisfied with the selection.
- 4). Split the track once more using the "Edit" and "Split" or "Command" and "T" keys. Left-click on the portion of the track that you wish to loop to select it.
- 5). Click the "Edit" and "Add to Loop Library" keys to turn your selected recording into a loop. Fill in the name, genre, instrument, and other fields that you wish to fill in for organizational purposes, then click "OK."
