Preventing Tooth Decay Is a Full Time Job!

Most people don't think this way.
Once their teeth present a decay, they get aware of the importance of tooth care.
What can we do to maintain our teeth in good health? You have to take the title in its full meaning.
It IS a full- time job.
That is, you have to take care of your teeth all day long.
In the morning, after your breakfast, you will brush your teeth.
Brushing alone is not enough.
In the interspaces between teeth, there are remainders of food your brush is not able to remove.
Use your floss to clean the interspaces between teeth.
During the day, you will have various meals and snacks.
If you are not able to brush your teeth while you are out of the house,floss them.
If this is not possible, eat an apple.
An apple is a cool teeth cleaner.
It helps you to keep bad bacteria away, that is the bacteria that attack your teeth.
Apples preserve the good bacteria but kill the bad ones.
Some chewing gums have a similar but weakereffect.
If you cannot eat an apple, chew at least a gum that helps you to keep your teeth as clean as possible.
The problem of continuous chewing gums is that this movement, if repeated too much over time, weakens the joints and muscles of your face.
This can be very painful.
You see, the health of your teeth is very important.
Every cavity in atooth means spending money, means unnecessary sufferings.
You will want to avoid them.
And you can.
If you observe these simple rules.
Wash your teeth at least three times per day.
If you have not the opportunity to wash them during the day, eat an apple.
Floss them.
Chew a good chewing gum that prevents dental caries.
In the evening before going to bed and after having eaten the last bite of the day, clean your teeth carefully.
Brush your teeth thoroughly.
Use a good tooth paste that is not too abrasive.
It is no good for your teeth because it may damage the enamel that makes your teeth shine.
After having brushed them, floss the interspaces.
Between the teeth, also use a small brush that helps you remove remainders of food.
When brushing your teeth, also brush the gums.
This is a massage that helps your gums keep healthy.
This is very important because your teeth are imbedded in them.
Weak gums means loosened teeth.
And you can imagine what follows this state.
