The main difference between this plan and the basic plan is that you'll be supplied with a USB modem instead of a standard modem.
A USB modem gets power from the USB port its plugged into on your computer or laptop, and because it's about the size of a pack of gum, you'll be able to take it with you wherever you go.
You'll be limited only by the 4G coverage area in your city.
This plan also usually features higher transfer rates than the basic plan.
What if you were to venture outside of the coverage area? Although your city will probably get signal in a lot of places, you might want to travel to a neighboring city sometimes.
There's no guarantee that neighboring city has the necessary infrastructure in place to offer 4G service.
That's where a hybrid plan comes into play.
It allows you to connect to the 3G network whenever you lose connectivity to the newer network.
3G is much more widespread and thus you'll almost always have a connection to the internet with this kind of plan.
The only catch is that 3G is noticeably slower, but the vast majority of users will still be able to do everything that they need to.
You most definitely would rather have signal to the newer network, but if you have to venture into a different area you will be covered under this kind of plan.
From being connected just at home to being able to access the internet from almost anywhere, there's really a plan for everyone.
