- 1). Wipe dust off of the shoes with a microfiber cleaning rag after each wearing.
- 2). Blot areas of residue or buildup with a damp microfiber rag when the dry rag does not work. Blot rather than rub so that you get rid of the residue without spreading it, which is a problem when you rub the fabric.
- 3). Add a drop of mild laundry detergent to the damp cloth and continue blotting until the buildup is gone.
- 4). Wipe with a damp cloth to remove the soapy residue.
- 5). Dry the satin shoes with a hair dryer on a low heat setting.
