Effective Exercises To Relieve Anxiety

Beyond drug therapy and psychotherapy, whose effectiveness has been demonstrated, there are many simple remedies that anyone can practice at home.
These include relaxation techniques, which need a limited effort and can be used at any time.
These techniques represent a natural response and physiological stress, can also occur when you are not aware of these reactions in our body.
We define relaxation as a psychophysical state in which the person is relieves his tension.
Reaching a state of relaxation means be able to control the level of physiological arousal, to create conditions for free from tension.
When stress and anxiety affect the normal functioning of the body, relaxation is useful to redress the balance.
In Eastern relaxation, techniques have been known and followed for centuries: the masters of yoga practiced them as a fundamental aspect of their discipline in the West, instead, the interest in these techniques have been limited until the last decades, when people started to consider the organism as a complex system made up by the interaction between mind and body.
Professor J.
H.
Schultz made major contribution to the study of relaxation therapy and its practice.
He developed a method called biofeedback.
This is a self-induced trance state of light through techniques of autosuggestion, which leads to a state of physical and mental relaxation.
After studying Schultz, many psychologists and physicians have begun to use relaxation techniques in addition to conventional therapies.
With the growing interest in this field of study we now know that different techniques are adapted to different personality types.
The techniques proposed in this article are not intended as an alternative to psychotherapy, and not as a supplement to it, or simply as a relaxation exercise that you can use in your own home when you have time to devote to them.
Anyone can do these simple exercises and benefit from, there is no downside or risk.
Before starting the exercises it is best if you prepare your body and mind to relaxation.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes lever before starting a workout.
You can sit on a chair, a sofa, a chair or lie down on the bed, taking care to make sure that no part of the body is in tension.
Stay in a comfortable place, whether lying or sitting.
The important thing is to feel comfortable.
It is useful to spend a few minutes sinking into the chair.
The techniques are most effective if you practice them with your eyes closed.
