Marriage Relationship Advice For Keeping Your Marriage Alive! 3 Simple Things You Can Do Today

What is it that keeps a marriage alive? As surprising as it may seem, there are basic things you can do, starting today.
One of the first things that you should be aware of is to focus on your marriage.
Fail to do this and before you know it, you'll become live in roommates.
Take this piece of marriage relationship advice, before you are looking back wondering where things went wrong.
In most situations, there is no turning point where "things went wrong".
It's life getting in the way.
You can't take your marriage, or your spouse, for granted.
There are simple things you can do to get just the right amount of help for marriage you need.
1.
Keep The Lines Of Communication Open
For example, keep each other informed! Communication is the most valuable piece of free marriage advice you'll ever get.
We have email, cell phones, notes on the fridge, an endless number of ways to communicate with each other.
Just taking time to communicate can keep a marriage strong.
Find the time, no matter what.
My husband and I always make the conscious effort to find time for each other.
2.
Set Aside Time Each Day For Each Other
We strive to set time up each day just for the two of us.
Whether we talk, do chores, pay bills, play games, get out the laptops, no matter what it is, we do it together.
That makes all the difference.
Even if we just watch some TV in bed and fall asleep, it's quiet time alone just for us.
It also gives us the time we need to be intimate.
If one of us is working a particularly hectic schedule one week, we'll try to have lunch or breakfast together.
3.
It's All About Me (Solo Time)
Maintaining a strong marriage also means taking some time for yourself.
You can't dedicate time to your spouse, job, and family without taking a little "you" time.
This is a piece of marriage relationship advice that is often neglected.
My husband and I hate to do things separately, but sometimes it's the only way to get a little quiet time.
For example, he may need to go get a haircut, or I may want to go for a nice walk.
We allow each other that time.
In fact, we help each other find that time.
It's something that both men and women need! Bottom line is you can take all the marriage relationship advice in the world, but it won't help a bit if you can't use it in your marriage.
The best advice I can give is to find simple ways to include each other, find time for each other, and help each other.
It doesn't have to be complicated.
It doesn't have to be psychological and challenging.
Just remember all those things you love about your spouse, and you'll want to spend time with them!
