- 1). Apply Spanish moss to one side and the edges of a 12-inch straw wreath, using a glue gun. Pull the Spanish moss apart to loosen it up, then squeeze hot glue onto a 2-inch section of the straw wreath. Quickly place the Spanish moss onto the hot glue and press it down with a wooden craft stick.
- 2). Break a floral pick in half. Apply hot glue to one end, then quickly push that end into the bottom of one 2-inch red artificial apple. Apply hot glue to the other end and push it into the inside rim of the wreath.
- 3). Cover the inside rim of the wreath with apples, then apply apples to the front of the wreath, leaving one space open for the ribbon. Apply another row of apples to the outside rim of the wreath.
- 4). Apply hot glue to the stem of a single eucalyptus leaf, and push it into the outside rim of the wreath, in a space between two apples. If there is no room, push it directly behind the space between two apples. Continue in this manner until the outside rim has a leaf between all the apples.
- 5). Turn the wreath over and twist a piece of floral wire, or twist tie, into a loop. Hot glue the loop onto the top of the wreath, directly behind the space you left for the ribbon.
- 6). Tie a 24-inch long, 1-inch wide red ribbon into a bow, then cut a "V" shape into the tail of the ribbon. Hot glue it in the open space between the top two apples. Allow the tails of the ribbon to hang in the middle of the wreath.
